New Parents Walk

Are you a new parent? Join us in Cemetery Park for a baby-friendly walking tour, and a chance to spend some time in the fresh air and beauty of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park.

This walking tour is family-friendly, and perfect for getting new parents out of the house with their little ones. It’s a well-established fact that spending time in nature is good for our mental health, especially when coping with sleepless nights and the associated stress of a new baby.

In this 1.5 hour session, you can join Cemetery Park Manager, Ken (dad of daughters) and Admin Officer, Aneeta (mum of boys), to learn about the nature and heritage of Cemetery Park. We’ll end the session with a hot drink and biscuits in the Park Lodge. Hopefully the babies will sleep in the fresh air, and parents will have a chance for a bit of exercise and a natter in the woodland paths of the Park.

All our paths are pushchair friendly, and you can leave your pram in the Lodge if you prefer to take your baby in a sling. We’ve also got a baby changing table in our accessible toilet.
