School visits
Schools can take part in a wide range of non-curricular activities at the Cemetery Park such as habitat exploration in our ponds, meadows and woodland, discovering mini-beasts and plant and animal species identification. Most of these sessions are led by our partner charity, Setpoint London East and more information is available on their website.
Our team can also lead heritage, crafts, bushcraft and nature based sessions on request on topics from the Victorians and the Blitz to lantern making and bat walks. Sessions led by our staff are 90 minutes long, outdoors and non-curricular. These sessions cost £150 per class (maximum of 30 children) and include use of the Soanes Centre toilets and storage facilities. Get in touch to find out more about these sessions and discuss learning outcomes and costs.
Self-led educational visits (schools, colleges and nurseries) cost £35 per class per visit for park access. Please note that self-led visits do not include use of the Soanes Centre toilets or storage facilities.
Bespoke Forest School sessions for children up to 16 years are available on request. Sessions are between 2 and 3 hours long and cost £250 for a maximum of 15 students. This is also available as a holiday club for private groups.
