  • Dr Hannah Billig set up as a family GP in Cable Street in 1927. Her dedication to her work and her patients made her one of the best known and highly respected doctors in what was one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the East End of London. Text and research by Chris McCabe, illustration by Frances Ives. This poster accompanies The East Edge, a great book by Chris McCabe.
